You've known for years which music should play at your funeral. The only thing missing is a place where it's written down, so the people around you won't have to guess. That doesn't need to be a will, and it doesn't need to cost anything.

What recording it means here

On My Last Record you choose five records. You search by title or artist, listen to a preview and put the song in the spot you want. That's it. No ten-page form, no subscription, and no questions about caskets or flowers. Just the music.

Then you invite the people who will need to know: your partner, your kids, a close friend. They get a link that lets them see your list at any time. If something changes, they see the new version without you having to send anything again.

Why you don't need a lawyer

Recording your funeral wishes sounds official, but when it comes to music, no law has anything to say about it. A will deals with your estate and your heirs. A letter of wishes can cover a few belongings. Which record plays as your family walks into the room appears in neither, and it doesn't have to.

What does matter is that the people arranging the funeral know your wishes at the moment they need them. That's usually in the first day or two after a death, when a hundred things have to happen at once. A list they already have, on their phone or on paper, saves a search at a moment when nobody feels like searching.

What it isn't

To be honest about it: this site keeps the record, the people around you carry it out. We're not a funeral insurer and not a funeral home. We don't arrange anything on the day itself. We only keep what you chose and make sure the right people can get to it.

If you can't finish today, your list simply stays where it is. Tomorrow, next month or a year from now you swap something. Nothing is final until you leave it that way.
